Summer is in full swing, and things are moving fast at the Colorado African Innovation & Cultural Center (CAICC). This season, we have a packed schedule designed to celebrate the accomplishments of our youth, create meaningful professional pathways, and honor our vibrant culture with the entire community.
As we approach the late summer months, we invite you to mark your calendars for three pivotal events. Here is everything you need to know to get involved.
July 24: Young Tech Demo Day & Graduation
On Friday, July 24, our students will present the projects they have been working on across AI, Robotics, Coding, Game Development, and Cybersecurity. This is the moment the whole program has been building toward.
The event will feature project showcases, presentations, recognition awards, and time to connect with the students, families, educators, and community partners who made this summer happen. If you want to see what our students have been building since June 9, this is the place to be.

August 21: Career & Networking Expo
A week before the Dashiki Festival, we are hosting the Career and Networking Expo at the Community College of Aurora. This is a room where the right people come together, and something useful happens for everyone who walks through the door.
Whether you are looking for your next opportunity, scouting for talent, or putting your business in front of a qualified and engaged audience, this expo was built for you.
Who This Is For:

August 29: 10th Annual Colorado Dashiki Festival
Mark your calendars for August 29, 2026. The 10th Annual Colorado Dashiki Festival is coming to Centennial, and this edition is the biggest the festival has ever attempted.
We are planning a full day of live music, African cuisine from across the continent, cultural dance, a fashion show, and a vibrant vendor market. Thousands of people show up every year because this celebration means something to them. We look forward to sharing this 10th-anniversary milestone with you.
