CAICC October Update: Young Tech Is Live, ZICT Programs Still Open, and Two New Opportunities Are Here

A lot is happening at CAICC this October, and we want to make sure you are caught up on all of it. From a program that has already kicked off to two new ones launching this month, there is something here for everyone in this community.

The Young Tech Innovator Fall Cohort Has Started

The Young Tech Innovator Cyber and Cloud Certificate Program fall cohort is officially underway, and we couldn't be more excited. Students are already in class, learning cybersecurity, building real tech skills, and working toward industry-recognized certification.

To every parent who signed their child up and trusted us with this: thank you. What you did by enrolling them matters more than you know. The skills they are building right now are the kind that open doors for years to come.

Here is what students are working through during the program:

Cybersecurity training covering fundamentals, ethical hacking basics, and digital safety. Industry-recognized certification that strengthens college applications and career readiness. For high schoolers, an internship opportunity that offers real hands-on experience in a tech environment. And throughout the program, youth mentorship through group and individual sessions to help them grow and think ahead.

The program has started smoothly, and we are genuinely excited about what lies ahead for every student in this cohort. Parents, keep encouraging them to show up, engage, and make the most of every session. They will thank you for it.

ZICT Programs Are Still Open. But Have You Taken the Step Yet?

We shared the ZICT programs in our last newsletter. The opportunity is still open. But we want to ask you something honestly: what has changed since then? Have you started upskilling? Have you taken a step toward where you want your career to go?

If not, this is your reminder that the door is still open. Cohorts fill up, and we cannot hold spots indefinitely. AI is already changing what employers expect. Cloud technology is already reshaping how businesses operate. The professionals keeping up are the ones taking action, not the ones waiting for the perfect moment.

Here is what one of our graduates had to say:

"Before joining ZICT, I was in a state of dilemma. I did not know what to do. But joining ZICT changed that. It helped me get hands-on experience with key AWS infrastructure. The team was really supportive. If you are in a similar situation, where you do not know what your next career journey is, ZICT is the right place for you to navigate to your next career stop." - James Macford Macauley, ZICT Graduate

ZICT, a subsidiary of CAICC, currently has two programs open:

The Applied AI for Digital Productivity and Work Program is an eight-week, fully online course covering twelve career tracks with no prior experience required. It teaches you how to apply AI to your actual work, automate tasks that slow you down, and position yourself for opportunities that were not available before.

The AWS Cloud Solutions Engineer Program focuses on real-world cloud skills on AWS, one of the most in-demand platforms in the world right now. Engineers who build and manage on it are among the most sought-after professionals in tech today.

Scholarship funding is available for eligible Colorado residents. Denver County residents aged 30 and under may qualify for a 100% full scholarship worth up to $4,800. If you are over 30 or outside Denver County, up to 40% scholarship assistance is available, with payment arrangements for the remaining balance. Eligibility requirements apply, and spaces are limited.

Upcoming Programs: Two New Opportunities This October

Beyond what is already running, CAICC has two new programs launching this month. Both are distinct and designed for different members of our community.

Digital Equity Mini Grant Program: October 24

Your business is more than the product or service you sell. People want to know what you stand for and why your business exists. But having a great story is only part of the work. You also need the digital skills to communicate that story, reach the right people, and grow.

That is exactly what the Digital Equity Mini Grant Program is for. Starting from October 24, small business owners will walk away with practical skills they can use immediately.

The program covers website design, AI for business growth and automation, social media marketing, grants and loans, and wellness and mentorship support. It is free to attend and designed specifically for small business owners who are ready to strengthen their digital skills and take their business further.

Youth Wellness Program

Parents, did you know your child may be carrying stress they do not always know how to express? Growing up comes with real pressure, and every young person deserves a safe space to be heard, supported, and understood.

Your child's mental health deserves as much attention as their physical health. Small things you do every day can make a difference. And when they need a little more support, the CAICC Youth Wellness Program is here.

The program offers one-on-one support sessions for young people ages 8 to 20, helping them manage stress, understand their emotions, express their feelings, and build healthier coping habits. Sessions focus on stress management, emotional regulation, emotional well-being, and burnout. Because supporting a young person's well-being today helps them build a healthier tomorrow.
