Youth Wellness and Resilience Program
Supporting Youth Wellness, Empowering Communities
Building Resilience through Wellness, One Youth at a Time
The Youth Wellness and Resilience (YWR) Program is a culturally responsive initiative by the Colorado African Innovation & Cultural Center (CAICC). Designed for African American, African immigrant, and refugee youth ages 8–26, this program tackles mental health challenges, trauma, and substance misuse by meeting youth where they are—with care that reflects their lived experiences.
At CAICC, we believe it takes a village to heal and grow. That’s why the YWR Program offers therapeutic support, psychoeducation, and community engagement—all rooted in culture, compassion, and connection.
