Our Core Values

The Colorado African Cultural Center (CACC) was founded in 2017 with the mission to empower the African and African American communities while fostering unity, diversity, and inclusion across all communities in Colorado. Our team, composed of passionate and qualified individuals, understands the unique challenges faced by the African community and is dedicated to providing effective solutions through youth empowerment programs, business development initiatives, cultural celebrations, career development, and community outreach efforts.

About Us

The Colorado African Cultural Center (CACC) began as a WhatsApp group to address the needs of the African community and initially organized cultural events such as Dashiki Day and celebrations for various African countries. These events provided young adults and youth with opportunities to connect, celebrate their heritage, and network with others from different African cultures.

As the need for support grew, particularly for young people seeking guidance on finances, business, and careers, CACC expanded its offerings. Now, we provide a range of programs, including Youth Empowerment, Business Development, and Community Empowerment initiatives. These programs focus on financial empowerment, career development, and mentorship to support the growth of both individuals and the broader community.

Our Story

To enhance the quality of life of Africans and African Americans in Colorado by celebrating their cultures and achievements and giving them the necessary resources and skills to thrive.

Our Vision

The primary focus of our work is with youth, young adults, veterans, immigrants, refugees, individuals with disabilities, underserved populations, and struggling businesses within African and other underserved communities. These groups often have their unique needs overlooked, so we have tailored our programs and services specifically to support them. Despite this focus, our programs are inclusive and welcome people of all ages, races, genders, and backgrounds, ensuring that everyone can benefit and participate without discrimination.

Our Niche

A unified and diverse Colorado where every African and African American feels represented and has equal opportunities for success.
