About Us

CACC was established in 2017 to empower the African and African American communities and to foster unity, diversity and inclusion between different communities in Colorado. We are a team of passionate and qualified individuals who understand the challenges the African community face and how to solve them.

Our
Story

CACC was birthed from a WhatsApp group that was formed to address the needs of
the African community. We started by organizing cultural and entertainment events like the Nigeria Day and the Dashiki Day. Our events have given a space for the young adults and youth in the African community to network with people of different African cultures and celebrate their heritage. Over the years, we've noticed an ever growing need among the youth in the African community. Many young adults and youth came to us for direction on how to navigate their finances, businesses and careers. So CACC expanded to host workshops and programs that financially empower people.

Our
Niche

The niche of people we work with are the youth and young adults. We find that the needs of the youth and young adults in the African community have been greatly overlooked in the community. Hence, we tailored our programs and services to meet their needs and interact with these groups. Notwithstanding, people of all ages, races, genders and walks of like can benefit and be a part of our programs without discrimination.

Our
Mission

Enhance the quality of life of Africans and African Americans in Colorado by celebrating their cultures and achievements by giving them necessary tools and skills.

Our
Vision

A unified and diverse Colorado where every African and African American feels represented and has equal opportunities for success.
