This Colorado Gives Day, the Colorado African Innovation & Cultural Center (CAICC) invites you to be the catalyst for change. As we celebrate a monumental 2025 a year where we reached more than 8,000 Coloradans by fusing innovation, education, and cultural pride we are looking to you to help us shatter that record in 2026.
Every dollar you donate today is an investment in opportunity, equity, and belonging. It’s a direct action that empowers a small business owner, launches a youth into a tech career, and ensures African heritage is celebrated across our state.
Here is a look at the powerful programs your Colorado Gives Day donation supports:
1. Young Tech Innovator Program & Youth Wellness
The Program: We provide students (grades 7-12) with hands-on training in cutting-edge fields like AI, Cybersecurity, Python, Quantum Computing, App & Web design, Graphic Design, and many more paired with mentorship and wellness support to build emotional resilience.
The Impact Your Gift Makes:
A donation of $50 covers the cost of a Mentorship Session for a youth, providing critical guidance and confidence-building. A gift of $250 funds a Scholarship Slot for one student in a 10-week Young Tech Innovator session. For $500, you can provide a student with a Free Laptop and Gadgets, ensuring they have the tools to continue learning long after the program ends.
In 2025, your support empowered over 100 youth, offering them a pathway to be creators of technology, not just consumers.
2. Upskill & Get Hired Workforce Development
The Program: This initiative helps adult learners transition into high-paying tech roles through intense 12-15 week training in Cybersecurity, AWS Cloud Architecture, AI/ML and many more. It targets underrepresented communities to close the economic opportunity gap.
The Impact Your Gift Makes:
A gift of $100 funds Career Readiness Workshops, covering resume writing, interviewing, and job search skills for one adult learner. Donating $500 provides a Partial Scholarship for essential program materials and professional certifications. You can cover the full cost of a Tech Scholarship and enable one motivated adult to launch a new, high-paying career with a gift of $1,000.
Thanks to our donors, the 2025 program achieved a 100% program completion rate, fueling economic mobility for families across Colorado.
3. Digital Equity Mini-Grant Program
The Program: We empower small business owners and entrepreneurs with vital digital skills, including training in AI tools, web development, wellness, mentorship, social media marketing, and much more.
The Impact Your Gift Makes:
A donation of $150 provides AI & Digital Tools Training for one small business owner to automate processes and increase efficiency. A gift of $350 funds the creation of a Free, Customized Website for an entrepreneur, giving them a professional online presence. Your $500 donation supports the launch of our new Financial Literacy & Homeownership Workshop series in 2026.
In 2025, our Digital Equity cohorts contributed to over $305,000 in business revenue impact, proving that digital access equals economic power.
4. Dashiki Music & Fashion Festival
The Program: A cornerstone of our Cultural Center, the Dashiki Festival is a massive public celebration of African and African-diaspora culture, unity, and art, featuring music, food, and a vibrant fashion showcase.
The Impact Your Gift Makes:
A gift of $75 helps provide a Free Vendor Booth for a local African or minority-owned small business at the festival. Donating $250 supports the costs for the Fashion Showcase, spotlighting local designers and cultural expression. With $1,000, you can sponsor the cost of a Main Stage Performance by an African artist, celebrating cultural arts for 6,000+ attendees.
