With just days left in the CAICC Fundraiser 2025 campaign, we stand at a powerful moment. We’re not at the finish line yet—but we can see it. And with your help, we’ll get there together.

Over the past few weeks, we’ve seen incredible generosity pour in from friends, families, alumni, and supporters all across Colorado and beyond. Each donation has brought us closer to our goal—not just in dollars raised, but in dreams made possible.

And now, as we enter the final stretch, we need one last surge of energy, passion, and community spirit to take us all the way.

Why This Fundraiser Matters

The Colorado African Innovation and Cultural Center (CAICC) was born out of a simple but urgent mission: to empower underserved communities, especially immigrants, refugees, and people of color, through access to career-changing tech education, cultural connection, and community support.

At CAICC, we believe in creating opportunity—not just for today, but for generations to come.

Every dollar raised during this campaign helps us:

Offer free and low-cost upskilling programs in Cloud Computing, Cybersecurity, DevOps, AI/ML, and more.
Provide job-readiness support, including mentorship, resume clinics, and mock interviews.
Organize career fairs and networking events that connect our learners to real hiring managers and recruiters.
Fund our community hub, a space where learners feel seen, safe, and supported every step of the way.

This is more than a fundraiser. It’s a movement toward equity, representation, and lasting empowerment in the tech industry.

Behind every donation is a story.

Meet Amina, a single mother who fled conflict in East Africa and resettled in Colorado. Without a background in technology, she enrolled in CAICC’s Upskill & Get Hired Program, which offers training in high-demand fields like cybersecurity and project management. Six months later, she secured her first salaried role as a Security Operations Center (SOC) Analyst. “CAICC didn’t just give me skills,” Amina shared. “They gave me confidence and believed in my potential.”

Or Jose, a DACA recipient who had long dreamed of a career in tech but was limited to low-wage jobs to help support his siblings. Through CAICC’s Young Innovator Tech Program, Jose discovered a passion for data analytics and machine learning. Today, he is employed full-time at a Denver fintech firm. “I finally feel like I belong in tech,” Jose said. “Before CAICC, I didn’t think that was possible.”

These success stories are not exceptions—they are becoming our new standard thanks to your continued support.

Launch of the 2025 Dashiki Festival Cultural + Career Expo – A celebration that honors our students, showcases cultural heritage, and builds bridges with Colorado’s hiring ecosystem.
